Letter from a sponsored child.
Dear Sponsor,
Hello! How are you? I am fine. I continue to work hard. I am very glad to write you a letter. I have some good news and some bad news to tell you, that my improvement is very well. I study in class 8 and there is lots of improvement. In the last year when I was in 7th Class I am not able to understand anything but your lots of love and blessings are with me that I am able to understand in 7th class. I am sit in my class like a dumbo! But now I am learning very much some subjects. I am able to understand like maths, you know maths is my favourite subject and biology and also few subjects I am not able to understand like geography, physics, chemistry. But my tutor, I mean Mrs. Rachel Massey Maam, are believing in me and that practice makes a man perfect and she told me when you learn something you don’t like the chapter on subject but you said whatever you learn you said “I love that Chapter, I love this subject” and you are able to learn more and more. I know you are bored reading this but I have to tell you something, that my parents were thanking you. You have given me the money and opportunity to study in such a nice school. Thank you very, very much. You are so sweet, how can I tell you that I am very happy to write you a letter and I want to meet you when I have completed my study. I will complete my dreams. I have to tell you something that academically my parents and my family have a lot of expectations from me. Since they are illiterate they have undergone a lot of hardship in bringing us up and are doing everything they can to educate me and all my brothers and sisters. They have a lot of faith in me and believe that one day I will do them proud by becoming an I.A.S. officer. I want to be their good girl and fulfill all their dreams and aspirations. But sometimes fear of failure sets in and weakens my spirit and morale. When I am not able to understand the lessons in class or get low marks I get disheartened. But I have heard that “failure” is the stepping stone to success.”. I will try my best to overcome this fear and complete my parents dreams. And you give me your lots of love and blessings that I can learn more and complete my dream or I will succeed in my life.
